Hello again, everyone. I hope the week is going well. Slow week at the station this week, sports wise. We?ll be on air live tonight (Thursday) for the Women?s soccer game vs. Ohio Valley University. The Women?s team has been looking good, coming off a weekend that saw 2 overtime games, winning one and losing one.

When I talked to Coach Caudill earlier this week, she was extremely pleased with the play of her team and talked about the luxury of being able to substitute a number of players and not lose anything on the field. Another thing Coach talked about was the fitness of her team and how happy she was that they got into ?game fitness? as quickly as they did.

The game tonight vs. Ohio Valley looks to be a pretty even game on paper. Last year, the Fighting Scots went 3-14 overall and 1-8 in the WVIAC (West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference). They have some momentum coming into the game tongight after a huge 5-0 win against Salem International University.

Last night, the Men?s team marked the first ever NCAA soccer game to be played at McConagha Stadium. Tonight, the Women look to record the first ever NCAA soccer win at McConagha Stadium, after the Men dropped a tough 1-0 loss against Case Western Reserve in double overtime.

The Women?s pregame beings at 6:45. John Glenn football is away this week and Muskie football is off. The WMCO broadcast schedule picks back up next Friday (Sept. 14) when the Little Muskies host West Muskingum High School.

That?s all for this week. If you can?t make the soccer game tonight, take WMCO with you and stay updated on all that action! Have a great week, and Go Muskies!
